who will win AMA superbike title?

After Mladin took 2 (and destroying the field) at Sonoma it looks like he is back in top form. I think the "old man" wants his title back. Being as I'm an "old man" myself(36) I hope he pulls it out over the young bucks. He gets my vote he's been riding like "i'm either gonna crash or win" but to be honest its just fun to watch. man can those guys ride!!

good to see james ellison out there too. when he recovers from his arm surgery I think he will be right up front. you dont get a motogp ride if your not a bada**(but on the other hand he lost it)

Don't worry about that little off track excursion Spies made in race 1 - no problem.
I would like to see Ben win again, but Matt is in the zone.

IMHO Mladin is an easy guy to not like. Not just becasue he wins so much but because he is such a bastid to practically everybody. In the race 1 intro they showed Spies riding up next to him to congratulate him and he shoved Spies away like a punk. You could see Spies' body language after that with a "WTF" shrug. Rossi is hard to hate for exactly the same reason. He never acts like a jerk to people at least not publicly. He played Gibernau like a fiddle but he is almost always approachable. In other words "A champion". They both want their titles back in a big way, that is obvious from their whole demeanour and on track aggressiveness. Just not necessary to be a Pr1ck about it IMO, Rossi is a great example of how it should be done.

I picked Matt, but I really want Spies to Win

And Yeah, Matt can be a jerk   , but when pressure builds (and lets face it, Suzuki built their team around Matt) the tempers flare

I say Mladin.

But....

Spies is not out of it at all by any means. I don't think he'll win @ Road America b/c that's typically Mladin's track. But He's a contender at all other circuits.

I saw that too!!

Truthfully, I'm a Mladin fan but seeing that really disappointed me and now I can truly see why everyone thinks he's such an a$$ whole. Spies is such a standup guy and truly deserved his #1 plate.

But Spies has said some stuff through press indirectly that has "discredited" Mat and his off season efforts. He does have a little of the "I'm THE MAN WITH Yoshi Zuk."
