COULD JUST BE THE ANGLE OF THE PIC?/

I JUST DID A 240 08 AND HAD TO GRIND THE FRAME..I CAN'T SEE HOW IT COULD BE STRAIGHT WITHOUT A JACKSHAFT??

Sorry about the caps!!

I have been hearing about others that have the GenIIs and 240s....they take less grinding. ??? so they say. Its still the same frame so dont understand that one, but??? Seen this Busa before and realy like it thu.

The distance between the tire and the chain on the Gen 2 is larger then the tire/ chain distance on the Gen 1.

that bike does look straight in that pic!!..where His lic plate??LOL>.

Its also a atc (allthingschrome) kit..I tried moving the spacers they gave Me around, but didn't work and even thought about making some!!

the sprocket on the 08 has a spacer the gen 1 doesnt have, you put the spacer in front of the sprocket and grind the frame..I did a 240 on a zx-12 before and had no grinding, but never done a gen 1 busa, but like you said the frames are pretty much the same..

I would say its probably 1/4 to 1/2" off center

where the chain goes for clearance when You swap the spacer(gen 1 kits they give you a offset sprocket)....

top line as it comes into the sprocket..

Did you ever post or youtube the videos of you cornering on your fat tire ?

If you zoom in on the red circle area you can see the notched out area.
Is this the typical shaving or is this why this bike has a centered rear tire ?

Thats the same arm,you have to shave it just to get it to work..looks like he has some kinda air-ride with the plate sitting on top of the tire, and also a first gen rim setup..

Not yet...been hard to get my wife or bud to photo me. The MULLETs been down for a month now due to the jackshaft blow out again. MY OSD conversion kit is scheduled to deliver to day. SO be back up very soon and realy want to shoot that before the season ends.

I hope you get it done before the seasons over too.
Yours would be the first 300+ size rear tire on YouTube and this forum showing the handle characteristics.
Fullthrottle has on video but the camera is on the bike and you can't see the actual bike lean.
Hopefully, you'll put to rest the notion that you can only ride a fat tire straight.

The red circle in the pic above was so that someone could see the notch cut out in the frame.
If you blow the picture up(magnify) in paint or viewer you can cleary see the notch in the frame.
You can't tell how deep it is but you can see it.

If you want it centered we can do almost any jackshaft size rear setup you want...Arms themshelves start at $2500 and we can get all styles of wheels(even widen oem),chains, sprockets and brake setups...Spend the money once look good for a long time..
