Why are Busa riders different?

My first M&G was at Eureka and it was a privilege to be a part of the group.

So, I have been wondering why are Busa riders so much different to the other riders, Hells Angels, Hell on Two Wheels, etc. etc.?

Could it be that we chase technology instead of girls and beer, or am I just very bias?

Im not really sure why we are the way we are. But i think it is to each their own. I mean i wave at everyone on two wheels but a lot of Harley drivers don't wave back. Why do Harley guys not always wave? Cause as far as im concerned i know a lot of Busa owners and they don't think they are any different but ???we are interested in our bike but not any more than beer and females!

i can't believe even on a small island like where i live those crusier guys don't even see me...i passed 2 today..waved & everything...i swore i was invisible...most sportbikers wave back but a couple years ago there was much more luv

The Harley culture is well documented and was always assoiciated with drinking, rent a copy of The Wild Ones. Not a bad movie. The desire to cling to that "outlaw" attitude is understanable in a world filled with cookie cutter people and political correctness.

I'll go with the technology part of that. being as how I'm a geek anyway...LMAO

we don't have anything to prove either... we wave at everyone not to be arrogant but to just be friendly, sometimes they don't wave back.. what a shame that those people are stereo typing us without the proper knowledge..

I love my bike. I was bad and kinda mean to the old one. I treat this one with more respect and less arrogance on my part. LOL I fell into the wrong state of mind... LOL

what I've noticed *at least in my neighborhood:whistle:* is that Busa riders arent as concerned w/looks (in general:laugh:) be it their bikes, or themselves.
we all like having "our look" but that doesnt require modling ourselves into an image that was created by someone else as a marketing scheme *cough* H-D *cough*

annnnnnnd-Busa riders tend to be a lil thinner than the avg. biker-mostly *IMO* because theres no cupholders for the beers and the seats make ThunderButts feel insecure so they stick to the Hardley-Runningsons and Old Wings n the other big touring/cruisers with the soopa-wide seats and hard-bags to carry their extra sammiches n Snicker bars "for energy" and anybody who rides a Busa for more than 15 min. knows how much work it can be on twisty roads-that'll make anybody burn some mega-calories ridn everyday...cant say the same about ridn a cruiser-at least, I never got a workout in a riding barca-lounger:laugh:

Could have gotten a brand new full sized pick-up truck for what they paid for their sudo all American H-D. I give a wave to all two wheelers (except scooters and mopeds) lol. I'm not any better then a stuck up H-D rider, am I.

+1 I like girls and beer technology just improves the odds of finding them both in the same place :beerchug:

Because we always have a pocket full of Kryptonite at our disposal.

Check your right wrists ............:argue:2

i think you're mistaking all Busa owners to be like those of us on the .org...i know several Busa owners that aren't any better than any of the other riders who don't wave back and are only into the "image" and i don't ride with them either...you can find any type of person you want on any kind of bike

i have found a predominately great group of people who share my respect for others and love of the road and have chosen to be a part of hayabusa.org...i love it here :beerchug:

ive been on my busa for a year now  and ive had two types of fellow riders the guys who wave and the ones i chase down (turns into a race, unless they look at my fairings and can read:laugh:). Ive had one guy on a HD going along next to a car with two beautiful girls in it. He's 40ish, me 23, girls in 20's. for some reason the girls keep asking me for a ride at every stop light  and ask if i would tell "pops" on the HD to take a hike  feel bad for the old guys(aka HD) that dont get "it" when "it" comes so easly for us busa riders.

I have a Busa and a V-Twin Cruiser, I get more waves on my crusier than the Busa. I think a lot of the other bike riders don't wave at the Busa riders because they know what we have and are intimidated. That's the price we pay for having a motorcycle that is on the top of the food chain.
