WHY  NOT 4 additional injectors ??

I am thinking of upgrading my VR street stage 1 for more HP Turbo unit. I noticed that most are using a secondary fuel rail with four additional injectors in order to achieve 400/500 HP .

Why not replace the stock injectors (280/300 cc) and install bigger size injectors 400cc up to 1000 cc since it’s available in the market?? What is the difference??

The ability to tune the low end... the large injectors can be problematic when trying to get the low end right... The second fuel rail offers a larger range of tune.

Funny thing is that this is one question that I actually knew the answer to.

I do like to understand the nature of the beast before jumping on it's back to ride it.
