Why would some-one do this ?

I bought this on Ebay a good while back .. I like spare parts to paint up.. I just noticed this the other day .. Why would someone cut this?

Looks like they had the front lowered a good bit and cut it for front fender clearence.

Yeah, I think it came out a drag racing bike too, looks like they cut off a lot, I would like to see the bike that came off from, it must been slammed to the ground.

The well not so smart guy that had my bike before me did the same thing to the rear fairing I had to buy anew one I guess I got lucky he didn't do the front too
