will this fuel pump work?

cant use tank mount pump, dont want to run it lean but dont want to spend 300 on a pump and 100 or reg.

This pump sells at Summit for 145. Motor has bolt ons but is otherwise stock.

In the spec sheet the pump is rated for constant use  at 55psi @ 27.5 gph
