Wind Gusts 50+ mph Va/DC/Md

Went out today for a nice ride into the District (Washington DC). On the way home the wind kicked up something terrible. I'm talking about gusts that moved my bike significantly.... I high-tailed it on home to find out that we are under a severe wind gust warning. (The weather man got this one right...) The wind is kicking hurricane like!!! Be careful tonight guys!!!!! I think I'm in for the night!!!

Had heavy rains and sustained 30-40 with 60 gusts all day today.
Hoping they settle, have a get together ride tomorrow planned.

glad it moved your way. On vacation this last week and everyday was windy to the point of no riding.

I rode a little today and it was gusty. Went hunting this morning and thought the tree was going to fall, should have stayed in bed. Cant wait till tomorrow, have a ride planned with friends to the N. Georgia mountains.

Had to go out in those 40 mph winds the other day. The only thing good about them is

, if your riding in a direct crosswind you can get rid of your chicken strips REAL fast
