I read in another topic I didn't want to "threadjack" about a windcreen mod. Is this just putting tape around the tapered (inserted) end to reduce vibration? Thanks.

Weather stripping on both sides. I hear more noise up top near the mirrors.
Cool. I'll check it out next time we hook up. Let's go get that new rubber broke in if the weather let's up.
Snap - I've always used duct tape. Kinda hill-billy, but it works, and no one can see anyway. The tabs on the Zero Gravity windscreen (& the 3 others I've used), just rip the duct tape really narrow so it covers the tabs only, but can't be seen when you slide it into the windscreen slot. Have never had any vibration in the windscreen, even went shooting video through the screen. No pics, but you get the idea.

I had a long piece of rubber, like weather stripping but smaller... had it leftover just laying around. It works great, and i only used three pieces about 2" long each. I also thought about using a thin rubber hose, cutting it open and sliding it over a few of the edges before reinstalling the windscreen.

I used old chewing gum.....from under a movie theatre seat.
I fixed the problem by throwing the ZG away. There are better quality screens on the market that don't need to be doctored up.
Put my hand on the screen while the bike is moving(LadyHawk @ Jul. 27 2007,12:54)Maybe, maybe not. Put your hand on the windscreen and see if it stops.
Most busas have a rattling around 5k.. it's the inner demon wanting to be released.
But check your windscreen first.
That would mean taking my hands off the bars or out of my pockets...
