My Dealer recomends that I NOT RIDE my Hayabusa untill the cam chain tensioner is replaced, ala GSXR 750! So I guess that if I show up at Marcus I won't be a Busa Boy! Holy Moly! Pink and Purple Pollywogs! Any expert advise that might make me overlook the advise of my Dealer? Other than ignorence is bliss...thease ain't mopeds, don't ferget..

If your bikes not making noise you can ride it. When and if the noise starts, park it-

Wow! Way Cool! What does this noise sound like...mine "gumbles" a bit a idle with the clutch out, but thats it so far...

...no...my dealer just got a fax and not the whole notice...I suspect ours are in there!

The grumble is normal, the clatter of the chain is not. You will know it if you hear it. Not to worry- If you hear it dont ride the bike-LA Suzuki knows about the recall and will have all parts Tuesday for the tensioner and 108, and 109. They are ready to schedule the bike for service. Other dealers should be about the same. If your dealer is playing games, report them to the regional Suzuki Rep.

Hapo, just schedule a service time. Ride your bike it is warrantied. If it not makeing weird noises then ride.

my dealer has been very cool...one of the guys at CP had the tensioner on his GSXR750 fail suddenly and his engine self destructed and siezed up...not cool, but he didn't crash...whats different about this problem...was it some other problem that trashed the GSXR?
