Winscreen problem

I purchased a Harris Techniflow doublebouble winscreen for my new bike at the time of purchase. For the life of me I cannot get that silly thing to fit at all. The stock screen comes off easy enough and it looks to me like it way off by about a inch. For something so simple it seems I dont know what I am doing wrong. Any help Ideas or what

Not sure about this windscreen but I know that most aftermarket ones, such as my Sportech, didn't fit exactly. They do go in, you just have to work them in a little more than the stock one.

Can you put up a pic or two?

My first Sportech fit, but after wrestling with it for awhile.  My second one slipped in perfectly.  Can you sent it back and get a replacement?

Sorry, I know that's not much help....

I had the same problem when I put on my windscreen. I used a dremel to make the side slots a little wider so shield slid all the way down and the holes would line up.

Pics would help...

I have Zero Gravity screens on Elenor... and they fit in pretty well! No problems whatsoever!!

I have a Zero Gravity sport-touring screen on mine now and had a ZG double bubble on before that - both fit as well as the factory screen.

if you end up switching brands, try a puig !! fits perfect and if you go with the light smoke it says 1300r really cool

at the risk of stating the obvious, are you sure you were sent the right screen ? have you set your new over your old one and determined where the size, slot or hole difference is at ?

just trying to help.

Flip one of the screens updiedown and hold it bottom-to-bottom, without flexing them, to the other screen. If the mountings don't line up you've got the wrong screen. If the mounting do line up, it'll show you what the differences are.
