Winter Oil Change

I just installed a new exhaust and since I have the fairings off I was thinking about replacing the oil. Would it be smart to do an oil change now, or should I just leave the fairings off for now and wait till spring?

I would say just do it know, if its new oil its not going to hurt anything sitting in the motor, it sits in jugs for a long time before you put the fluids into a motor.

Its the used oil that sits in motors for long periods of times that is the bad thing,

can't hurt to put new oil in now while you have the fairings off (plus it will spare you some effort later).

Like the other guys have said just go ahead and do it now since you have everything apart. It will save you a lot of time and work.

I didn't check the blinker fluid, but figured i'd be ok atleast until 6k miles.
