I was thinking about building a track bike to run at road atlanta but being new to tracks and figuring on paying my dues in plastics and parts, I was trying to find a cheap track bike to build. Seems a '98 or later gsxr 600 is a good choice, any thoughts on this? Now I figured a wreaked one in an Insurance auction would be good...no? Anyone know where in Atlanta to go to on of these? And what would a decent bike run for something like this? Sorry so long...thank for any input.
