well my 00 r1 was dropped off today at the shop wont find out whats wrong with it til tuesday, if its the rings , valve seals , or something else got my fingers crossed its something minor but we'll see
 
gulp. good luck! I hate taking things to the stealership.

Good luck...even if it's something simple, the "stealership" as Addicted to Torque accurately referred to it as charges out the ass for labor.
 
well the big day is tomorrow thats when i find out whats wrong with the r1 got my fingers crossed and feel like a kid on christmas eve all anxious and nervous hoping to have something good under the tree but in this case hoping not to spend too much $$$$$$ well if its something that isnt too much money i will feel as if my christmas is in april let yall tomorrow lata

the suspense is killing me called the shop before they closed cuz i didnt receive any phone call from them and then they told me they couldnt get to it til tomorrow man i am stressin !!!!!!!!! friggin thing better not be too much $$$ or i am going to cry keep ya posted lata

Sounds like a supervisor needs a class on estimating service times!
 
Bruh I'd pop up and check it out for myself. Alot of times when you drop your bike/car off, they blow you off for other higher paying customers. Ever dropped you car off and it's parked out front of the garage/shop and everytime you ride by your car is in the same spot? Yet they bill you a butt load for labor. Stay on em man, don't let em pimp you.
 
I usually try and find a time when they can do it while I wait! Doesn't always happen, but I don't like leavin' my stuff for them to decide when they are going to get to it!
 
now i am beyond pissed i mean he has had the bike for more than a week and hasnt even done the leakdown test to it yet , called him this afternoon and talked to him he said sorry and and will try to get it done asap he said hopefully tuesday (closed sundays and mondays)and i held back my frustration and said ok but inside i was saying if it isnt dont by tuesday around lunch time i am picking it up and taking it else where , the guy does great work but i mean a over a week to do a leakdown test ? come on now keep ya posted
 
Yeah, it kinda sounds like you are getting the run around! I will say that I enjoy my dealer being open on Mondays. It comes in quite handy sometimes!
