Women drivers, down busa

Driving along, minding my own business, took one look at a beautiful girl when my head again was straight.... a car blocked the road ahead. Slam the brakes and down I and the busa went. A tour to the hospital with 5 broken ribs, a fraktured one punctured one lung. The whole fairing scratched, same with the cans and the left engine cover.
The bad news is: No spare parts, maybe next year, says the dealer.
Just home from hospital and riding my scratched busa, not a pretty sight, but she run smoothly, please guys, have some pity on poor me......

Sincere condolences. Ribs hurt a long time. Had a punctured lung but it healed up fast.

Will you be able to ride it as a street fighter for the remainder of the year when your ribs heal up?

And most importantly, was it worth it? Was the girl that good looking? Some are...

Sorry there is not a girl on the planet worth looking at that is worth this. Get cable TV or go to the mall or something. My condolences and I hope you heal up soon. Eyes on the road! :)

If you need spare parts or used parts for your Busa,go to Motorcycle online used parts.I have seen GSX1300R fairngs posted there.

Thanks to DirtyPete, Todd, G1300R and ducmanic for writing a few nice words.
Was she worth it ? Dunno yet, but I managed to get her telephone number from the police-officer and we are going out to dinner... who knows..
Well the speed was 30 miles/hr, an estimate on the damage is roughly $7000, that's 45.000 danish crowns. I paid £26.150 for the bike. This is my first accident in 25 years.
I have a question ? Could anyone of you guys please fill me in on the "Power Commander" issue ? I'm not able to get any info here in Denmark. Is it worth the trouble on a "standard" bike ? I'm not the all-out speed freak, but like the grunt and roll-on's. I did try the R1 and the Blackbird before buying the busa and there was no hesitation on my part. The Busa is simply a great machine, period.
Once again, thanks guys.
