Woolich QS has arrived - now the fun begins

I hope this QS sensor is easy to fit otherwise it’s going to be a long weekend in my garage.

Does anyone have any sage advice before I start?

1) Exercise patience!
2) Read instructions several times before even starting the job
3) Research youtube for any channels that have done the same installation of the same QS
4) If things go wrong, and anxiety starts to grow, go inside and have a coffee or cup of tea.
5) Finally, don't rush the job!

A lot of us have had issues with lagging kill times when shifting with the factory quick shifter. Sometimes as long as a second or two which does not define "quick" shifter... The Woolich quick shifter cured my lagging kill times as well as a few others who have made the purchase.

Hmm,
Instructions are very sparse, they just sent me step3 and step8. 3 tells me how to assemble the rod and strain gauge, then 8 tells me where it plugs into the bike.

Have to say that I’d expected to see more in the box.
It’s basically just a new strain gauge and new rod with conventional thread one end and left handed at the other.
It’s a pattern part.
I’ll wait until I have a better defined issue with the oem one or maybe when I have the bodywork off for some reason., like replacing the bodywork once the bike falls off its stand maybe

I just put a translogic sensor on mine, thanks Jordan:)

The stock sensor collapses ans streteches a fair bit making it feel like mush, the strain gauge sensors are solid and make itnfeel solid, like a regular old school mechanical shift linkage. Im loving how the translogoc feels compared to stock.

Ive been playing around using the gen3 switch on my harley with maxx, as well as the healtech setup inline on a shift rod.
