Well...I finally have a night free from working late, working boat shows, softball, t-ball, lawn mowing, etc. etc. etc.....the Micron cans went on a couple weeks back and tonight I'm doing the topgun tail.....Iceman led's will have to wait, as they are hung up in shipping.....but per JD's instructions, I'll just leave a little extra length in the wiring and plug up my "top secret Iceman LED kit" when they come in. Pictures in the AM!!!

Yo Tbone. COuple things. You cant cut too much even if you end up flush with the bottom of the subframe. When you connect to the turn signal wires just move em or lengthen them so you can reach them in the trunk. The nice thing of all is that the six push pins can easily be remove to "LOWER" the undertail and then reassemble it. I think I have had mine out 8-9 times for this or that. Easiest way to unlock the hump. DONT FORGET TO RECONNECT THE TRUNK LOCK CABLE!!!!.

still no word by the way. See Cbriggs home page for great top gun pics.

don't disconnect the cable .... just unbolt the bracket.

Ditto. #### that cable!! You're asking for trouble. Just undo the two screws and take the whole bracket off. Also a tip that i used with my undertail so as not to lose the pushpins was to put some silicone in the holes before you push em back in.

thanks all....I did a topgun on my '01 last year, and this install went super smooth...only about 2 hours for the whole job. Then I left the camera at home. I suck....pics tomorrow....she looks sweet though!!

Have fun! Seriously though - it is an easy project, and like Iceman said, you can't take off too much of the rear fender. I recommend cutting it flush with the bottom of the subframe. I'd use a Dremel but a big pair of metal shears would work fine too. And I mean BIG shears (that plastic is pretty thick). Post pictures when your done!
