I agree with Defectron, we've been over this and over this, many times. It really doesn't count until the bikes are sitting in showrooms with price tags hanging from them, and you or I can lay down our gold or platinum plastic and go way into debt, or open up a briefcase of small unmarked bills from our Columbian connection and ride home on one.
But the video makes it look like they are serious. I have bad-mouthed the Nemesis before, calling it a white elephant and an investor scam. It is looking more real and respectable, and I hope the scrappy Brits pull it off.
But as Defectron said, it is always a question of money. A turbo kit, some engine mods to go with it, and some suspension parts would make a Hayabusa a helluva speed machine by the time you were $20,000 to $25,000 into it. I don't think you could touch a Norton Nemesis Or an Australian Drysdale V-8 Sportbike for 25 large. And at that price point, a well-done 'Busa might be faster than both of them...and better-handling too.
