Wrecked My 2001 Hayabusa

I was involved in a accident on Friday the 12th leaving work I lost the bike in a patch of loose gravels in a turn dont remember much because I woke up in the hospital 7 hours later with a broken shoulder and a head concussion. I'm ok for the most part cant really say what happened but I slid the bike pretty bad on the left side and hit a road sign and bent it back about 45 degrees...Now my bike wasnt in the best shape before it needed some tlc but after this wreck its a mess and to top it off now that i got the bike home and am trying to work to get her fixed someones coming by and stealing the only parts that werent damaged in the crash they stole my rear cowl off my bike yesterday and today i come home and theyve taken the clutch and brake master cylinder covers off as well...I dont know why people have to be this way its not bad enough how much i got to work to get it back on the road they gotta take what few parts i didnt need to replace....ERR!!

Well anyways I was just going to post up the pics and see what you guys though if anyone see anything that that I need replaced that they could help me with I be so grateful...Im just trying to get her fixed as cheap as I can and dont really have the money to go buying brand new parts so please anything you can do would be appreciated someone else is making this even harder for me and if I found out who they gonna wish they never thought about screwing with me...lol

Heres the front end im guessing hit the pole you can see the front fairing is cracked in half the left turn signal is busted and the left mirror is gone as well

This is the inside of the left side you can see the inside fairing platics are busted and you can see the clutch cylinder cover was still there when i took the pics its gone now

The rear hanger for the exhaust and the rear foot peg snapped in half as well

The seat was tore up pretty bad and the frankenstine bolt was bent on the left side you cant really see it in the pic but the compartment what stores the batter under the seat is broken as well figure its how the jerks got my cowl off the bike cause it was locked on

The left side took most of the damage as you can tell the other side does have some scuffs and the seat got tore on the right too somehow but anyways if the theives can keep their hands off of it the rest is till good the clutch lever is gone and now i dont know what imma have to do about cylinders they are full of water right now cause it rained today while i was at work and the part of the frame up top where the mirrors bold onto under the plactics is bent pretty bad on the left side....

So what do you guys think can anyone give me some advice on how i should go about getting her fixed and would anyone have any of the parts i need to get her back in running shape i was planning on buyin new plastics fo her anyway but just the left and right fairings now it looks like im gonna need a whole new body kit front to back this sucks....why they had to take my cowl and my covers is just beyond me as if it wasnt bad enough...

What kind of budget are you working on?

I hate to be blunt, but this board is built on a family structure, and your original post (link) is asking for parts, then you wreck and now you need more parts.

Would it be safe to say that you may have bought a bike you were not ready for on both a financial level or skill level.

No I am a new rider yes but im not looking for any handouts I just wanted some help on what I need to do...I may have made a mistake and wrecked the bike but it wasn't like I was acting like an idiot I just got a little lose and droped it wouldnt have been so bad if it wasnt for the street sign just ahead of me, and I just wanted some help I thought this is where I was supposed to post if I needed help I'm willing to buy the parts I just thought I could get some help from you guys...you all seemed very knowledgeable but if its a problem to look for help from fellow riders I can just go to the local shop and work with them

My original post was just looking for anyone that could help me get those parts I needed before the wreck or what exactly I would need to replace I dont expect anyone to just give me what I need but anyone who would like to get rid of extras that they may have and that I may need is what I was looking for why buy it new if I can help someone else get it off their hands and save a lil money...the bike is something I bought knowing full well that I would be putting money into it and its not like thats a problem for me but like any good consumer I try to get what I need at the best possible deal and if I can help out a fellow rider buy throwing them a few bucks for their parts I dont seem to understand why thats a problem....

I've got some jerk now coming buy and stripping my bike even further I had to take it today and move it to a friends house with a garage because of them they destroyed my keylock for the cowl and now my lines on the front both are full of water because they wanted my covers....

I understand this board is bulit on a family structure and I was starting to feel like it somewhere I would love to build a relationship with but I cant see how after I'm just starting to get into posting and checking out all there is to learn from everyone I get this your not welcome here treatment... just saying sure I would love some help but even if its pointing me in the right direction to get things back to normal thats appreciated if someone has something that I could use and would like to let me buy it from them great but just some advice would be all I really need I just dont feel like getting ripped off dealing with some local dealer whos just trying to make money off me...sorry if Im ranting I'm still a bit doped up on the meds for my shoulder and I've been at work 13 hours a day for the last 3 days...Im wore out and just stressed about everything right now...sorry

i would suggest you check out our sponsor area here. I would bet you will be able to find some goodies at a great prioce to get that bad boy back together. Heal up man dont push yourself so hard. I dont think the response you got was a slam or anything i think they were just trying to figure out what help you needed and hinting about maybe this was the wrong area to post it maybe.

Very sorry about the wreck. Where is the bike located and why are people taking parts off of it? Was it insured? Keep checking the members/members section. Some one usually has a oem exhaust to give away, windscreen etc. For other parts you cant find here, HondaEastToledo has really good prices on oem parts.

i have an oem exhaust in good shape, the left side can is good the other not so good, you can have it if you pay shipping.....

sorry to here about your down. yes, there are some people on here that can be arse holes, but for the most part this is a really great site. i've made some good friends on here and saved hundreds of dollars on labor and parts because of this site. so just be patient, research the threads, and the pro's should dime in an help if needed
