WTF

A few questions about my new bike.
There is a list of things done to my bike before I got it from a "reputable" shop that is no longer in business.

Listed in a manifest of parts is a T.R.E. "timing retard module" is this the TRE spoke of in different post here. Is this the unit listed in Pic A and should I keep it. The guy paid 75$ for it, just wondering.

He also mentioned that it has a Yosh box, I have no reason to doubt him but where is it located?

In pic b there is a plug that is not going anywhere. What is this for and why is it not plugged in?

In pic c the throttle stop adjuster was removed. It idles fine but why was it removed?

Thanks for any answers.

Congrats on the bike, and welcome to the board.

In pic A that's the TRE and yes you should keep it.
I've seen the Yosh box'es located under the passenger seat.

Not sure what's missing in "C" but maybe this will help!

Big O is correctomundo on A. I have no idea on B. I see the idle adjustment screw in C. No clue why it was removed.

Strange.

Welcome to the board JHNuts!

The yoshi box is a syatem to remap your bike (change amount of fuel sprayed by injectors) Yes you should keep it.

No clue on idle adjust screws.

YOSH box could be many places.. look in the trunk area, under drivers seat. It may be mounted under the tail section where you will have to remove the tail section to get access to it.

Timing Retard Eliminator---- TRE

Many discussions about this... eliminates the top-speed limiter and gives the bike the fuel maps for 5th or 6th depending on how the TRE is configured...
