Xenonking Visionpro HID kit review....

So for 180 I got this kit for my 99 Busa. First problem: it was supposed to be plug and play and was not, though a minor inconvenience still disappointing. The lowbeam harness was different than the stock hook up, so splicing occured. I had to do this for the switch I put in anyways so not a huge deal.

I got 6k low and high. So far I like it a lot, the low beam that is. The high beam is either misaimed or not powerful enough to make a difference. I have tried letting it warm up but it still doesnt create a noticeable light. Thoughts? Should I switch to another bulb? If so whats your recommendation? Other than this, I love the whitish hue I get.

I have the same kit and have no problems. I'm not sure about the GEN1 but for the GENII the beam adjustment control's both bulbs. I rendered my high beam useless because it's pointed up at the trees to keep the low beam at the perfect level. I do A LOT of night riding and didn't want to have to switch the high's off and on every 30 seconds. Play with your adjustment and you'll find what's best for you. good luck!!

Hrmmm - everything I've heard about the XenonKing kits, they are PnP... But you got it going...

As for the high beam, +1 on the adjustment. You may need to play with the adjustment on both the low and high beams.

I have 6000K for both my low and high beams...I had to move the low beam down a bit for the high beam to be visible and not searching for aircraft...

The Gen I s have separate adjustments for high and low. I could tell a difference between the the two when I hit the high beam, however it did take a few seconds, but you stated you allowed warm up. :dunno:

Problem is the high beam is a focused spotlight and if aimed inside the low beams light pattern, it is virtually rendered redundant. Slightly lower your low beam and adjust the high so it picks up right above the low.

Still the high beams reflector is not that great imo. A wider reflection would be better.

agreed, u prob need adjustment. if u have lo on a switch turn it off and adjust, that what i did. of course i run 55w kits and 8k on hi's. keep in mind, hi is a projector, so it emits a perfect beam.

Thanks for this reviews. Nice pic. Do you have any pics of where you mounted the ballast for this kit? I have it waiting to be installed and was just wanting some ideas?
