I don't know if you all remember, but a few weeks ago I posted that I lost to a zx10 because of my inexperience. The guy was just a better rider...so my goal was set, I practiced my ass off with fast starts...trying to keep the front wheel down as much as possible...shifting with out the clutch...etc...

So anyhow, just like a lot of you predicted, this cat was out braggin how he beat me on my busa at our local bike hangout...so I showed up there <span style='font-size:13pt;line-height:100%'>(with my new hayabusa.org shirt on)</span> ready to put the smack down...I played it cool let him do some talking, when finally he put the challenge down and I took...in front of about 20 riders, I put the smack down...

needless too say it was no competition...i blew him off the line and didn't stop...when we got back to the group of riders I made him apologize for the disrespect...most of the riders knew that he couldn't hang...but it was still worth the watch...

I'll be on this high for some time!!

Thanks for you ear and the support I got when I lost!!

hpt2001....way to go.....I am too scared to pop the clutch off the line....afraid the front end will come up and around and down on top of me. How many RPMs can you rev to before you let the clutch out? Can you just let the clutch pop loose or is it a gradual release.....I have no experience off the line...only roll ups from higher speeds where I am much more experienced. Give me details.
