Year 2000 fuel tap screen perished

Hi,

The long thin screen filter on the fuel tank tap on my 2000 Busa is perished and split. Looking online it looks like you can only get the whole unit and not just a replaced screen bit ?.

Seems like a lit of money when you could just replace the screen filter bit.

Any advice thanks.

what piece exactly do you mean?

do you have a pic to show your issue?

and yes - the so called "cock" is one piece in suzuki´s order list.

Hello,

It is the part No 1, the main cock with the long slim filter screen. The screen is split. It pulled away from the metal part. Pity they don't just do another filter screen that will push in the main metal cock.

i guess the best idea was to buy it new eg. at partzilla
