Yes or no for updated thread for the sportsmart

although I am not riding a 'busa, my experience with the Dunlop Sportmax has not made me happy. My current ride is a Moto Guzzi 1200, the problem is the boundry line of the two compounds. I have experienced a strange wear pattern. The harder center section seems to wear well, but here in Arkansas we have a large number of twisted roads. The softer side treads are starting to cup (1200-1500miles). The wear pattern on certain roads can give the rear end a less than surefooted feeling. I have just bought a new set of Metzler Z6 interact tires. the first reports are very good and they do not have different compounds for the tread. My sportmax are coming of with only 2100 miles of wear.
Just my opinion.

I have my first set of Angels on right now and like them. Search the forum, like two weeks ago I put a post up for set of Angels for 218 TYD! Can't beat that price. So it will help you save for your full system still.

You can get the michelin pilot power 2ct at jakewilson.com front and rear for like $228.00 shipped. they are pretty bad ass!

i hate Dunlops! i run the Pirelli Corsa III's and Strada's but have several friends that are having great experiences with the Angel's

Local dealer will no longer import Michelin tires cos they're just too darn expensive
About USD420 for Front & Rear Pilot 2CT
Bloody ridiculous!
Someone in the middle must be buying up diamonds with their cut of the deal...

Michelin Power Pures! You won't believe how much they'll lighten up your steering. (I've used Pirelli tires for years, but the Power Pure is even better.)
Get a 190/55 on the rear.

michlien pilot pure 2ct best choise for busa, all my driving involves going for a blast on twisty roads and get 3000miles from a rear and get the 190/55 bike steers quicker

whatever tire you go with that fits your budget will give you your own opportunity to judge if you like the tire and if it's fits your ridding style. Since it's a consumable item it's not like your stuck with your decision forever. If you end up not liking them then just start saving up for the next set.
