I was thinking about ordering the yosh cams, my bike is stock with the exception of 16 tooth sprocket and airbox mod. since the bike will go in for recall is it adviseable to get them to throw the cams in while they are at it? I realize my warrenty might become null and void, but what kind of hp gain will I see with just this additional mod. Shortly, after i'll install a pc, yosh pipe,and remove smog pump. how much hp then?
I ran my bike at Phoenix Firebird and ran a short time of 1.78 10.45 at 137.16 mph. I raced a guy with a seriously modified zx11 that was stretched and had a gigantic slick and wheely bar. He ran 9.24 at 144 mph. I would like to be able to stay with this guy mph without N.O.S. or adding the rest of drag stuff. I am guesstimating I need about 25 more hp to get that kind of mph. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ps i way 205lbs and the guy I raced was maybe 140lbs.
