Yosh test run

Just finished installing my Yosh slip-ons. The sound so much better now. My question it I noticed my left side is about a
1/2 inch lower than the right side, measuring from the rear turn signals. After I got back my right side had light smoke and it smelt like BBQ? I'm guessing this is the packing?

Did you remove the shipping material from the inside of the muffler?

Just kiddin.
You should be able to twist the muffler and midpipe for slight adjustments after you loosen them.

Are you sure your blinkers aren't off by 1/2 inch??

I wouldn't worry about it, unless it bugs you everytime you look at it from behind...

Not sure about the plastic in the rear but I did give it a twist and it does look better.

About the light smoke is it just packing? Only one side is doing it, hell maybe the manufacture left his BBQ ribs inside?

Did it smoke while warming up?? Does it smoke after its warmed up?? How much smoke....

Just packing for the smoke...If you tilt your head the 1/2" will go away...

New pipes hav to burn in a little. It will get better and sound should get a little deeper. Have fun. As or the lack of symmetry, twist that stuff around a lil bit.

I have yosh rs3 cans

They too do not align exactly, what you will find is that after loosening them and repositioning them and retightening them 4- 5 times you will cease to care about the slight mis-alignment.

You can make improve it but I couldnt get them exact no matter how many times I remounted them.

Doesnt bother me at all now ;)

I have carbon fiber yosh bot-on's on Elenor! It did smell for about two days once it was installed... so thats a common phenomenon when you put new exhausts. I'm not too sure about the variation in the height... mine fit perfectly!
