Been busy since i got home from work installing it, the Hayabusa has got to be one of the easiest bike to replace an exhaust system on and I've done more than my share of full exhaust swaps thru the years, but this bike has got so much real state to work with, that once the front fairings are removed the rest of the job is a breeze and the sound is deep and throaty the weight savings are definitely worth It, but will have to wait to ride it this weekend before i can make an assessment in regards to any performance gains, if any.....

That is one heck of a weights savings. Looks great as well. Good job
Thanks, would have been even more if I would have been able to remove the passenger pegs, unfortunately Suzuki has designed the pegs to have a grommet mount build in to attach the rear plastic fairings to it, so they’ll have to stay for now until I can come up with something else to work in it’s place

Beautiful bike sir  :super: If I would of been able to get a first year gen 3 it would of been that one and that would of been my exhaust of choice at least for single sided, I do love the dual look on a busa and do keep my eyes open for one that i might like and could maybe one day afford. I think the at2 does look a little better with that different end cap compared to my alpha t on my gen 2. So does the at2 have mounts for all the o2 sensors in it?? I sure hope they come with a full red one next year so I have something to drool over:drool::drool::lol:

Thanks, Yes the AT2 is a newly built exhaust for the 3rd Gen and has both o2 sensors bungs ….

I love my alpha t the only thing that bothers me is the mid pipe never got hot enough to activate the "works" finish. My header got some nice coloring to it from the heat but everything else looks the same as when I installed it. The other thing that's my fault is with my 1 inch drop pegs I've managed to put a small rub mark on it from my boots and so far I haven't been able to find a little carbon fiber heat shield that I can put in that spot without it sticking out too far.

Did you change the headers without removing the radiator??

Hope it woke the bike up. Much better looking than stock. The only reason I wouldn't get it is that the mid pipe IMO is too long.

Yes sir, just loosened up the oil cooler by removing the bolts that hold it in place, as you can see in the 1st pic, 2nd picture shows how much room there is between the radiator and the exhaust ports, no need to remove the radiator, I just covered it with a towel to protect it just in case.
To be honest, can't say that i feel any additional amount of added power from my butt dyno, but the weight savings were enough to make it worth it, at least for me, along with the looks and that deep throaty sound
She's running great with that never-ending torque pull, no codes, no check engine lights and as smooth as always, got over 1100 miles and can definitely feel the motor starting to loosen up.
I am loving the new seat, a lot more comfit on longer rides than the stock one was

That certainly changed the lines of the new bike...that exhaust looks modern and great on that bike...

The grommet that holds the plastic body work is at the top near the mounting bolt?

Looks like a pretty simple thing to fab up...

That sure would clean up the back end.

I'm trying to see from your pics.. Have they changed the oil cooler piping and/or routing? Looks like you can get the filter out now without needing to drop the oil line?
Not sure if there's been a change from the previous models, this is my 1st Hayabusa, I owned a B-King years ago but don't remember since i keep the stock Henderson that bike
