Yoshi Tri-ovals anybody heard anything.

Just ordered a Tri-oval for my 99 busa. read article in CW on long term test, but it didn't give any spacifics.

in dec. 99 when i looked at pipes i considered a tri oval yosh could not give me a release date and said it would not have a carbon can also talked to a known engine builder he said stay away i went with a sure thing muzzy. also if it did come out would be real expensive i paid 616.00 out the door for stainless/oval carbon

Buy it if you dig the LOOK but don't expect any higher preformance numbers with the additional price. It is tho a cool looking system.

I have a YOSH TRI-Oval and it seem to do fine , I also have a PCII with the 004 map an I run 9.7 at the track , but it does surge around 3500.

one other think about the yosh , they turn red hot up close to the head if you leave the choke on to long , but everyone I have seen on other Hayabusa's do to.

I went to Rockingham Drayway NC last night and there were about 20 busa's there testing for the Snithz Summer Sizler and 3 out of 4 had the Yosh Pipe. Most were runing in the 9.50's to 9.80's. I also seen several busa's with the MICRON Pipe. No 12R's were there, But i did see four on the showroom floor at Asheboro Kawasaki with the ticket price at 10,999.
