Like to know if the r77 mufflers with carbon fiber are holding up in the long term. Does the carbon fiber maintain the color and quality? I like the carbon but don't want to wind up with something that discolors and looks crappy.

I've had mine on for over a year, the bike is garaged and I only got rained on once but the pipes have seen a lot of the Colorado sun and if you ever been you know being closer to the sun and the minimal cloud cover makes the rays that much stronger.

I had a Hindle CF on my 04LE, and I have A Yosh CF on my 08, haven't had a problem with either one.

I had them for almost a year, but really can't offer much advice as the bike is garaged most of the time. They still look as good as new though.

Guess i did leave that part out yes they still look as good as they did when I pulled them out the box.

Im sure you have seen them on other Busa's, but I just installed a set on Sunday. Thought you might want a close look at them. They idle at a lower exhaust note, and are slightly louder. At some angles the almost look dull but up close they have a deep shine.
I got mine for around $850 off of eBay, and took 4 days to get to my door. I can give you info on the seller if you would like.

I've had several CF end cans the past 15ish years / best friend has had the same yosh end can for 10.

They generally hold up pretty well. There isn't much maintenance other than a re-pack. I'd say the WORST thing to do to them (besides bashing from the outside) is cook em from the inside (think custom map and Dyno).

All build materials involve trade-off's.
