yoshimura rs3 zyclone

I just recently bought an 05 busa. I upgraded from an 03 r6 and I am in love. I accidently bought the yoshi rs3 zyclones (HUGE MISTAKE). A buddy of mine told me to open the slip-on up and take half the baffling out. Just curious if that is a mistake or not. I want the sound, of course, but I don't want to lose performance. Also, am looking for tips to enhance performance. I am new to all of this and would love some tips. Thanks
