I believe you have to drill the rivets out to remove the cone. Most just live with the noise as the packing fades. Not worth the effort to some. I had an RS3 on my kawasaki, i remember reading that i was supposed to repack the innards every 3k miles or something ridiculous. Never did lol.
I saw a thread on here a while ago were somebody was saying you can post them back to the Yoshimura factory for repacking fairly cheap, I have never done it myself !
