The past two rides the wife and I did upon returning to the house I checked the trip odometer for each bike and though we did the same route my Busa reads about 4-5 miles higher than her bike. I realize taking slightly different lines and such can add up over the course of a trip but wouldn’t expect that much of a difference. @c10 have you monitored any differences in miles traveled when you and the wife are out riding the same route together?

Oddly enough, I drove my wife's car the exact same route as my truck one time and the two did not match on the odometer.

Are you stock gearing? 18/43 nets 98 to 99 miles to a gps 100 miles .
19/43 is 95 to 96 miles per 100 GPS.
Running 18/45 may show 100 to 102 miles per 100 gps .
Tire size / wear has a mild effect of 1/4 to 1/2 mile per 100 .

Yes stock gearing

If I go for a higher profile rear tyre on the wing meaning about 20 mm higher the odometer and speedo reads pretty accurate compared to the stock 20 mm lower profile tyre which is nearly 7kph off both for distance and for speed
