ZX12R Pic - sorry no video

Is it me......or am i seeing a computer rendered image? The bike is real, but it looks pretty fake how its mid-air and the rider has a pretty decent lean angle mid-air.......i wonder what the landing looked like?

What i cant wait to see is the testing done by motorcyle magazines.......The busa is the only bike I can think of that all the motorcyle magazines loved. Normally i never thought of following the advise of these magazines cause it seemed to me that they found serious fault with every motorcyle. But the busa seemed to weather the reviews quite well. Can the zx12 hold up under the close scrutiny of the motorcycle magazines? THey love the busa and they are going to compare the zx12 to the busa. Its like in boxing, you have to beat the champ hands down and then some to win the belt. This should be interesting. I can't wait....

In order for magazines to like the Kawasaki,it is going to have to be quite a bit faster than the bus,if it barely beats the bus by a mile an hour or two the magazines are going to butcher it as they did the Honda Blackbird, when it first came out. I hope Kawasaki ups the stakes a lot instead, of a little for their sake I personally don't see it happening, nice looking bike though. I will stick to my Bus, I love the looks and now we have the aftermarket starting to kick in.

I think the Hayabusa is a better looking bike. The ZX-12 looks fast as hell, but it looks to me like something you want to spray with a can of Raid.

The ZX will probably be a more narrowly-focused pure-sport machine, like the R-1 or the ZX-9R. The Bus is more the all-around road warrior, like the Blackbird and the ZX-11. But the Bus is a generation ahead of those two. That is why the magazines liked the Bus so much, because it covers several performance areas so well without really compromising anywhere.

The ZX-12 might end up being quicker than the Bus. It might even be faster. It will probably handle better, and it will probably be less comfortable for most people than the Bus. I would expect to see a lot of YZF-R1's and ZX-9R's traded in for ZX-12's, and a lot of ZX-11's and CBR-XX's traded in for Hayabusas.

The question is, what are they going to call it...the ZX-12 Junebug?

Is it just my imagination or does the ZX-12 look like a devilishly grinning elf from the
front?
I tried to sell a Ducati yesterday to make room for another bike. I must be unclear on the concept. Still love the Duc's. Cant sell any bikes. I only want to buy more.

Resembles a bug's head&face with an open mouth to me. [A praying mantis comes to mind] Nowhere near as stunning as the Busa but looks ok to me. Front turn signals looked tacked on and ready to get knocked off. Lower wings resemble front running boards and must have been an afterthought.
Would look even more "buggy" in Kaw puke green. I've been pulling quiet a few bugs that resemble this from the cooling fins of my Busa lately. It just loves to eat bugs!

Actually Todd, a mantis came to mind for me too. I thought ZX-12 Mantis sounded a little bit too complimentary though, since the mantis is a hunter, even if only in the insect world. ZX-12 Junebug sounded like a better insult.

The turn signals do look tacky. The winglets probably work above 150 or so, but they look like they would get hit, scratched, or broken a bit too easily.

Other than a mantis, the ZX-12 looks like E.T. or one of the Roswell aliens. I suppose both the ZX and the 'Busa are the look of the future.

I thought the 'Busa looked wierd the fist time I saw it. The second time I looked at it, I thought it looked strange, but interesting. The third time I looked at it, I knew I was in love. I don't think the looks of the big Kaw will grow on me the same way. To each, his or her own.

Ever see the pictures of the aliens from Area 12 at Roswell.

In "Kawpuke Green" it would be an alive Alien.

In "Death Warmed Over Grey" it is a dead Alien.

Will this all mean that the Hayabusa must save the planet from the hungry mouth of the ZX12.Turn signals are in fact landing lights.

Have any of you Busa owners considered adding a ZX12 to the stable?

Im considering it KawAbuser. We'll see if its better than the ZX-9. I love my Bussa' so i don't really need a ZX-12, but it would be fun to have something to race so i can leave the Bus' for one of the daily transpo bikes. Im trying not to talk poop about it, but it does look like a Roswell alien. Don't think it can beat the bus. Maybe on the track. The ZX-9 doesn't handle, so theirs no reason to think this will either. Make mine Kawasaki Green.

Would'nt buy it even IF it could live up to it's hype. Hell I would'nt buy if it did 215mph stock, I've always rode Suzuki(well I did own 1 Yamaha)and I'll never switch to another company. You gotta love Suzuki.

...you give this to me as present and I sell it for another Busa same day. I'm one of those that likes the Busa for all what it is, not only performance.
