gsxr 1000 vs genII

my friend has a 2006 gsxr1000 and its all stock said he has beat the gen II in a high rpm 3rd gear roll on to top speed.. I dont think so I will find out on tuesday I guess thats when we can meet up, what do you guys think am I going to get spanked?

Doubt it, a drag race is all in the rider, but if it's just a straight up roll on you'll take a stock 1000. The Busa has a little more power and better aerodynamics.

I have both;05' 1k and a Gen2...u have nothing to worry about unless your 300lbs&ur buddy on the 1k weighs 150lbs lol

I did this with my GenII and a friends 08, Honda CBR100RR. You will get the jump, 1/2 to 3/4 bike length, he should pull you about 1-2 bike lengths, but by the top end of 3d gear you should pass him when you shift you will be gone like he started slowing down.
