Zx 14 bearing

So i have been doing some reading and on Carpenters site and a few other places people are using Zx14 main bearings in stroker motors. Can someone explain the benefits of this to me.

Looks like it's the rod bearings, and the 14 ones are slightly wider, which spreads the load more. Just what I found doing a quick search.
