If so what was your impression and how likely are you to recommend them over another mail-in tune?

Has anyone compared tunes from one tuner to another?

You mean the shop in wa st?if so they do all my tunes on my bikes rc8 and gem 2 busa I'd go no wear else as far as better it's hard to say but Iyou can watch what is being done compared to mail in.Nate has been doing tunes on all kinds of bikes sence 2013 and probably longer then that. I trust them with my life they worked both of my bikes for repairs hope this helps

i did the 2wdw mail in ecu flash for my gf's 2024 Zx6r, and its been nice so far. no flat spots or whatever, running a graves exhaust so nothing weird or otherwise unconventional. i'll likely use 2wdw for my busa once i replace the headers, since you can replace the slipons and still not need a tune, from the looks of it (even though the stock mufflers have cats in them also).

They do more in their tune. Reduced temp when the fan kicks on, remove the top speed limiter, fix the quickshifter glitch amongst other things.

Yes I had my 2022 Hayabusa flashed and tuned by Nate. I have VooDoo Mojo full exhaust and DNA air filter, I sent my ecu to him back in November. I was very satisfied with his work. Their is a big improvement in the quick shifter, so much smoother, great throttle response and just an overall smoother ride.. He received my ECU on Wednesday morning and had it shipped out in the mail by the end of the same day.. I would definitely recommend 2WDW for anybody that is looking for ECU flash & tune.

Keep the reports coming. I have used CM and am happy with the work. Never hurts to have another tuning expert in the herd as a resource.

yeah i've pretty much decided to go with 2wdw when the time comes, it'll be a minute on my exhaust. not gonna use sprint air filters anymore though, i think the DNA filter is a good happy medium and that's what I'll use.

They will reflash your ecu for free after and future mods, you just pay shipping. So you can get the flash done for you current setup then when you get a full system send them your ecu and tell them what you've changed and they will flash the appropriate map.

Related to the Woolich software, if I have my ECU flashed (either by Moore, 2WDW, others) will I be able to read the 'tune' and make further tweaks on my own?

You cannot read what tune was put on your gen3 ecu with the Woolich software. I asked them this when I first started playing with mine.

They use a feature called Tunelock, I believe, which prevents anyone from accessing the tune without the password
