There is protocol in place per the Constitution such as Congress control funding of government programs. Trump tries to bypass all this and runs into roadblocks, like in the Dellinger case. There have been several court battles already. I've said several times, the audit is a good thing. The process so far, is not. It will only cause more court cases and taxpayer expense. Follow protocol. If the audit is found to be accurate and effective, it will survive the process and most of us will prosper.

What would be the process he should have followed? Give me a step by step roadmap.

Yes, Congress is in control of Federal spending, so if Trump wanted to get rid of this waste the right way, fast, how should he have gone about it?

Evil people my azz. This was nothing more than a grandiose stunt, a way for his public, people like you, to pat him on the back. He used that kid for his own purposes. Why else would he arrange for a cancer survivor to be at the State of the Union address? Just you and the other deaf dumb and blind (no matter what he says or does) trumpers are the ones that don’t get it.
