Do we not already have donating member which contribute to the cost of keeping the site running?. If it’s a little more than so be it, saves closing the site and losing the legacy.
The dealer also has to prove that the modification caused the issue, not so easy to walk away nowadays and deny warranty claims. I’ve been advised to approve warranty claims for bikes borderline unrecognisable from a factory bike.

It’s mostly with the kill times with the quick shifter. Both Gen 3’s I’ve owned from separate years have the worst QS I’ve ever used but the wife’s MT09SP is smoother than butter changing gears.
Easiest solution is throw the oem Suzuki sh!t in the bin and get a proper one.
Both my K8’s never had one, never felt concerned enough to worry about it.
The KTM had a retainer pin that randomly felt apart whilst cleaning, needless to say one was never added back on.
