some more pics of the adobe church and other buildings in the area, this kind of construction amazes me

we found the old county courthouse...first pics are of the original jail cells and then the ones built later which is where Dennis Hopper was incarcerated for a bit...we spent some time talking to a couple that are in the process of trying to refurbish the building, love hearing the stories that locals have to share

hung out at a music festival for a while where twotonevert tried his best to get MrsTwotonevert to dance with him but she wouldn't then, watched a beautiful sunset and got to talking to Dennis, the proud owner of one of the nicest '57 Ford Fairlane 500's i've seen in a long time...can't wait to see what today has in store for us

We had a busy day. Rode from Taos to Durango via Pagosa Springs. Checked in and dropped the bags then made a mad dash for Mesa Verde. We saw some elk, deer, one black bear.

We stopped at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Met a really cool Pueblo named Jim. Cool ghost stories concerning this bridge.

Not sure about the Hila Wilderness. Its 40 miles west of Durango on 160.
