What year Busa did you find?

2006 or 7 busa, extra forks, extra muffler, misc parts and engine

After inspecting it at home, the Bad(so far) Has bent subframe, bent forks, trashed fairings except for the nose. Bent clip ons, busted clutch cover, busted stator and cover, busted starter cover, broken right rear set.
The acceptable: stock motor, stock airbox, oil cooler, iridium plugs, k&n filter, pair valve removed, oil cooler and radiator not busted, looks unmolested besides the damage.
The good: tank not dented, frame not bent, full Brock’s or yosh exhaust, power commander 5, galfer braided stainless brake and clutch lines, wheels aren’t bent, chain and tires pretty new, led headlight, ASV levers, belly pan/winglet thing not broken. And APE pro cam tensioner.
Gonna drain the oil and make sure there’s no chunks before I slap some extra covers I have lying around on it and try to start it.

Wheelie Bars | 1/4 Mile
hey all can anyone help. I am going to run a set of pingel wheelie bars with a pingel strut. Do I still wanna strap down the front end with a lowering strap? Also i have a dynojet quick shifter. i took the bike out with just the strut and when i was shifting at 10-10.5 I noticed the rear end...

Picked up some race fairings cheap, tossed em in the attic for when the swingarm comes.
Led headlights don’t work, stripping that off tomorrow. Removed the oil cooler, turns out radiator did have a small leak, replaced that. Beat the dents out of the two middle head pipes, turns out it’s a Brock’s full exhaust. Fresh oil and filter.
swapped the subframe and put new fork seals and oil in the forks, new lower triple tree, along with heli bars and lowering upper triple tree, quick turn throttle tube.
It was dark by the time I was done so only have a in progress shot, but I did start it when I finished and it started right up. Sounds mean!

Like the title says, who’s gonna try it? I like the way the stock rear looks, but with the the maxxecu/stock dash progress that greg is making having it look like safe/reliable turbo stuff is in our future I’d be lying if I said i don’t want to go 3-5” longer on my arm to not eat the taillight...
