Several city blocks went dark this evening, only to flicker back to life in what appeared to be a possible display of the Y2k bug rearing it's ugly head. Officials remain unsure of the cause but have promised to continue their investigation. Those affected by these strange outages report that these events only occur after sunset. Some suspect a nearby government facility as the cause. While others claim it could be aliens due to the faint glow at street level some blocks away.
