0 to 60

Dude, I just wanna know who that chick is on your signature.... Hah. All joking aside, learning to properly feather your clutch is where you are going to get the most acceleration from. I have alot of friends that drag race stock wheelbase bikes, and it is hard to accelerate hard and not pull the front wheel up. They all put the r's at about 5-6k, then go full throttle while simultaniously slipping the clutch out about 40 feet. The Busa is a very over clutched bike, so it can handle this abuse to a certain extent. If its shear acceleration your looking for and no wheelies, I would stretch it out about 6 inches though. I have mine 12 over and would never go back. I guess that depends on what kinda rider you are too though.

Do you have traction problems on the street with the 12" stretch...

Pandemic...try some AlpineStar SMX-6 Gloves. Mine match our bikes....Blk/Gry. Mix of mesh, syn. leather, leather, Cordura and TPR. Good fitting, comfortable, seem durable so far, and breath very well, yet will offer some good protection. I'm 162lbs and have barely been able to get the bike to ride up one with power without literally laying back while on the throttle in first, second aint happening for me, I know when I am cranking this baby WOT I subconsciously lay forward prevent frontal uprising.

I originally posted this July 1 or something.... lol... I'm a "little" more experienced now than at the time of that post. But thanks. I just lay on the gas pretty good and it gets there fast enough for me. No wheelies. I don't drag race, though. Like all busa riders, I get faster and better with each day I ride.

Yeah, I have hideous traction problems on the street 12 over. It is however better than when I was 16 over...LoL. I dont really street race much anyways, but if I am planning on it, I remove the baffle from my sidewinder to get rid of all my low end power. It lets me get far enough out of the hole to not spin as bad.
