01 Busa Won't Start

Need help or ideas...After changing the plugs on my 01Busa, reconnecting the Pos battery cable, nothing. The bikes in Neutral, Power to gauges, kick stand down, but will not turn over. Prior to plugs being changed, she started fine. Any help or ideas are appreciated.
I looked at some of the previous posts but none panned out. My guess is electrical, duh, but where and how to begin spark chasing. Figured I screwed something up with a dropped socket maybe shorting something out. No real clue but want a shot at finding and fixing my screw up. Had just went on a short run, and everything was fine prior too. Figured I'd do some low end maitenance, in my wheel house; talk about being off the mark.
Again, any help would be much appreciated.

The bike ran fine before the plug change.......it seems something was unplugged and not plugged back in to me..

Maybe the clutch switch crapped out??

I hate to even mention this but obviously you checked the kill switch??

do the lights come on and the speedo and tach needles should sweep when you turn on the ignition switch on you should also hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds

does the starter move?

did you try the old sparks to test? some years ago i heard of one issue with 4 brand new sparks.

did you pull the c.-lever?

did you "put" in the side stand - perhaps its switch makes some trouble

check all the simple stuff, like clutch lever switch, kickstand switch etc etc, guarantee its something simple.

I wonder if this was the same problem he was experiencing back in 2016

Maybe it's still busted ? Deja Vu

Check the contacts on the starter motor connectors, they are black leads under the tank on the left side above the chain rail. My 06 all of a sudden died when it was working fine giving me a CHEC light and no power to the fuel system or to the starter. Cleaned it up really good with some contact cleaner and it started right back up. Hope this helps.

I think you should check that clutch switch........yesterday i cleaned my gauges and dust between the handle bars and the clutch switch magically unplugged itself....... After plugging it in heard the oil pump turn on, my gauges did the whole needle thing and she started, sometimes its the simplest things.

jeppa - clutch switch

i had the same issue with that damned thing just yesterday
but i found a torn off cable at one of the two cable connectors .
re-soldered and the busa started as usual.

Are we working on his 2016 problem still? Or his 2020 problem? 4 years is a long time to have the same issue. Deja Vu
Anyway, not mentioned yet, but kill switches fail sometimes, especially if you them constantly to shut the motor off, which I don't believe in.
Wears out the switch, too easy to forget to turn the key off and drain the battery, etc.

Yes, same issue I simply left the bike garaged without enough time to attempt to DIY, and not having a good shop, by way of survey input, look at it. Now with WFH in play I can get back to what matters the most. No commuting means more time to address fixing things.

I'll try that...I initially was thinking I may have pulled a connection when I dropped a socket while moving on the right side of the bike. It ping ponged and fell through so I was able to recover it. This was the only mishap, other than the non start I had while changing the plugs.
