06 Bosa / Zex Dry system

I recently purchaced a Zex dry system for my 06 Busa.
No where in the sales or marketing spec's did they say anything about other mods. Anyway after recieving it at the end of the install doc's it says that I should re-map the fuel for this system.
Has anyone of you installed this system? and did you have to re-map even on the 30hp setting?
If I dont buy a add on box to correct on the fly I end up with a bike running rich all the time ...argg
If so this makes a 400.00 cheep upgrade into a 700-900 dollar install... Not so sweet of a deal...

if you don't want to change your map,you could add fuel with the bars on the pc when you want to spray

now in the take this for what it's worth catagory...on my other bike,03 ZX 12 i am using a small jet (.032) and have the fuel bumped 6 % from 8 k up(100 % column),there is allmost no difference in the way it runs, i add the fuel right to the map
 
the zex kit is suppose to add the fuel by tricking the sensor from what i have read about it.
 
I  dont read any of that in the install doc's .. So far I am thinking return for a wet system . Has anyone installed the Zex made for a busa system and not done mods and had good luck out of the box ?

return it and call or pm goldenchild , he will hook you up with the right stuff so your busa dont go boom!!!!!!!!!

seriously talk with him , he will tell you what you need to have a functional nitrous system .

Has anyone of you installed the ZEX made for busa system? and ran it with no other mods safe? I have no idea if on these LOW HP systems if it can just be bolted on and using the jets that come with it 30-40-50 and the stock computer/fuel system will supply enough fuel to avoid a melt down>
 
I recently installed a Dynotune kit and am running the 30 shot jet.  I have a PC running a generic map for my muzzy - only other mods.  I took it out to see if everything was working and ended up spraying a whole bottle and had no problems.  Still, I'm getting it mapped before I ride it again. So, you'd probably be ok with no other mods, but if you're wrong it would be very expensive. You should get a PC anyway.

pm golden child with your question , he will let you know , it might work two dozen times without a problem , or it might meltdown on the first shot ? i was interested in adding a 40 shot dry and pm d goldenchiold about the zex kit , its alot of $$$ for just a little more you can have a functional nitrous system , he can even help you with a map ? nitrous is funny stuff ? great for hp ! but can ruin your day real quick ?

I am new to this I need to do a search and see how you are hooking up PC to the bike .. With a car you need special cables and software .. Bikes easier? I have tuned cars .. FAST systems .. so not scared to do it just know nothing about Busa side of it :-)
 
do you have the cable that goes from the power commander to the computer ? they come with the pc

you had to bring this up....now i will be crying myself to sleep tonight,i had a 70 chevelle 509,pretty much a race car with plates,it's gone the only thing left is the 4'' exh. system and a set of welds/et streets

Sorry to hear that man .. I had the same story .. had a 70 SS396 at 17 sold it and 25 years later got a 71 SS \
I wanted one all that time...
Was a long time coming :-)  
Currently building a 540 for it ..
