07 busa

What you need to do is introduce yourself in the "New Owner's Forum" section..... and tell us if you have a Busa or plan to get one... and if you have bike pics, we wanna see em!!!

Until then... welcome!

I sure hope they change it for the 07 year, then when I sell mine in 11 all the problems will be fixed

I think the fact everyone wants a change is because the technology is fading. I mean look at the stock gauge setup. Couldn't they just do some GSX-R rip-off or something? The main gripe is that it's unchanged. That is the worst thing to do for any automobile or motorcycle. Evolution is key. That said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...but I'm sure they couldn't make it worse by adding a few new features. Later.

Katastrophe18,

I kinda agree with ya.  Look at most major automobile manufactures.  It seems almost every year they change something cosmetic, small performance change, or they entirely re-design a specific vehicle.

I personally think Suzuki will make some sorta change, but who knows when.  I don’t think it will be very drastic, because of their tremendous success with the current  Hayabusa followers.

Well I hope they put out some real info soon.  I'm ready to buy.  But I would kick myself if I didn't wait a month or so and the 07 had some cooler features.  If the 07s aren't different, I will look to pick up on of the many 06 LEs in the trader...

Everything that's being said above has been said in both of the last two years I've been on this board. Probably the years before that, too.

I'll believe it's going to change when I see it changed on the showroom floor.

About the only thing I have the faintest hope of seeing different is the pipe might change. But I'm not a believer yet.

Having said that, I like the fact that it doesn't change. Keeps the problems to a minimum. If they DO make major changes, wait at least a year before buying. Or buy an '06 as soon as possible and wait two or three years.

Just my never to be humble opinon.

Here's an idea. Suzuki should do what Honda did with their 600 line-up. The F4i was their 600 racer. Then they came out with the RR. Although the RR is their 600 racer now, they still sell the F4i because it sold well. Same thing with their 1000's. The RC51 was their racer, but now its the 1000RR. They still offer the RC51 though.

Why not make a new King and still offer the current Hayabusa as the "prince" of speed.

i will believe nothing until i see it for myself... all this info gets tossed around every year and at most the only thing that anyone comes up with that might be right is the new color schemes...  until Suzuki releases the info, all info is just fantasy in my book...
I'm right there with you.. I'll believe it when I see it on the suzuki website, or on the showroom floor.

Until then.............

It will be OH SO EASY for Suzuki to simply up the cubic capacity to 1400cc and improve the intake and exhaust for just enough performance boost to beat the ZX-14. This will buy them time to bring out a completely revised model in 2009/2010.

I think that sales has a lot to do with changes...If the consumer is still going out and buying the Busa..and their hasn't been any changes since 9, but the color scheme..then it will not change...However, if the sales decline..and they loose some market share to Kawi, BMW, or other Manufactorers...then it is safe to say that they will have to make some drastic changes to this to keep/re-gain Market Share....Only time will tell....I bought and 04...and I love my Busa...but I would love to see a 1400 or a 1500 Busa!!!

Just because the Hayabusa hasn't really changed in 7 years, doesn't mean R&D was on vacation the whole time! They'll bring out a bigger, badder bike when they feel the time is right. And, it will probably be some they designed 2 or 3 years ago.

Keep you pants on. The Bike shows start in about 1 month.

they have to do something didnt someone say this engine design will not even pass the new emisions?

Ooooo, 1500, I like that can we start a new rumor. '07 1500cc confirmed, direct from the horse's mouth, or the other end. We'll stick it on the other sites. ESPN could add it to their ban the busa blog. How many more must die. Maybe Ted K. could get in on the action?
