08 batt/stator/charging problem

So I sold my gsxr1000 and got a 08 bussa because I couldn't pass up the deal I got on I've had it for 2 weeks and finally got it to where I could go for the first ride but as soon as I pulled into the gas station maybe 10mins away the bike died. It's like somebody just killed all the power to the whole bike and it wouldn't come back on until I jumped it off with another vehicle and than as soon as the cables were taken off it died. This is a brand new battery that i bought the day i got bike so i know batt is good. The weird part is while I was getting the seat up I forgot the key was on and all the sudden I heard the gauges reset and than everything came back on for a split second until I tried to crank the bike than it all died again......

Loose battery terminal connections.
Also, the charging system voltage output needs to be checked, should be 13.5v to 14.5v while motors is running.
Welcome along.
Introduce yourself in the new members section.
Tell us more about the bike and it’s history, post up pics too.
Do you have any mechanical knowledge or experience?
What’s the year model?
Any accessories fitted?
How many miles on the clock?
All the more info the better!

When its running and I out the tester on the batt it's only saying 11.3 and it only runs maybe 5mins and goes completely dead. But after that the batt is reading 2.4. So idk if it's not charging this batt right or what but I bought this batt the day I got the bike because there wasn't one in it and everything I read about it said these lithium ones are good but idk now

If I was a guessing man, I'd say the recall wasn't done and the regulator/rectifier needs attention....

I checked all the leads with the tested as the manual says but it was all in spec. I feel like it's shocking itself or something and making the batt short out if that makes sense
