Is anyone else having trouble scuffing the top of the hump, I try to be careful getting on/off but been noticing scuffs on the top of hump after rides. So far no scratches, scuffs have buffed back to original shine using plexus. Any ideas? do they make a bra?

Thanks Buddy!

Yep, I have kicked mine a couple of times. I think I subconciouly now position myself farther forward so foot goes over seat area more? I seem to not kick it so much now.

thanks, crystal clear now! that is a lot of space, i will be doing that when mine gets here at least until i can get an aftermarket mod, how about that grab bar that goes with the seat? is it worth dealing with? i notched a hump on an 03 for a friend to fit the bar, does it still bolt the same way?

I took the bar off the day after I got the bike. I think (others will need to verify), if you want Bar AND Hump you will need to knotch the hump.

I think my standard hump only has one very small notch on left side for helmet stap to pass through.

Bar and hump mods have been done on alot of Gen1's, looks kinda classy, and is there already for passenger when you put the seat on. Am I missing anything?

I have never had a Gen1 Busa so, I'm not the best at comparing here. If you use the search function, there seems to be lots of pics of just about everything.

Robot,

Can you or anyone else measure the:

1) thickness of the material at the holes in the hump backplate

2) thickness at the holes at the tabs inside the hump

That should provide everything necessary to construct an '08 hardware hump mod.

Regards,

-pk

Robot,

Oh yeah, one more measurement:

3) the exact dimensions of the oval hole in the back plate of the hump

-pk

Thanks High-Gain!

I had heard that Tiger was working on this but couldn't find it on their site. The only problem now is the price of all that custom-milled aluminum compared to something like:

http://www.humpmod.com/

but I appreciate the linkage none the less!
