08 tail section

i did the swap so i have the 05 parts for sale now, dont have a price for it all, but if there are any offers let me know. its all black, i have subframe, led tail-light with integrated turn signals, passenger pegs, factory cut undertail, all seats and hump... e-mail me if interested. davidlopez2384@yahoo.com

Any pointers when installing this ? I am waiting for my 08 tail to arrive, ordered it yesterday.
 
i've never posted pics on here so i guess i dont know how... sounds dumb i know...but shoot me an e-mail and i'll give you my cell number and i can tell you what has to be done...

click the paper clip next to the smiley face above, hit browse your computer, go to pic's in your computer and double click. voila, you now have can dowload pic's. :poke: i've been dyin' to see them. :please:

tail section with lights - 330. subframe with undertail - 130. hump - 90. still need to get both seats, and the assembly that locks the seat and hump down, plus the passenger pegs to hold the exhaust up... so i would say total will come out around 7 to 9ish.. sounds higher than i expected :banghead:
 
ok, I am going to ask a dumb question.. is the subframe the part the the wheel attaches to??? I thought the top section under the plastics were the only piece needed to be unbolted and replaced.. sometimes I get mixed up on names of parts.
 
your wheel bolts up to your swingarm... if you take only your tail section off your bike, inside of that will be a metal subframe, thats what holds up the tail section and what your passenger pegs bolt to.
 
this is great to get the pics... I am interested in doing the same, and it's great to have this thread.. looking forward to seeing more.
