09 busa starting problems

My friend has a 09 busa starts fine cold goes for a 10 km spin stops the bike tries to start it fails to start its like the battery is flat this is happening for a while he took it out yesterday fora spin I was on my own bike we stopped to fill the bikes his failed to start managed to get it started with a push Any help please

Did the regulator/rectifier recall get done?

Did this just start or has there been symptoms before such as hard starting, starter turning over slowly etc...?

Look around on here for threads about "hot start issues" there's been quite a few that should help u but first thing i would do istest the stator and go from there.

Did this just start or has there been symptoms before such as hard starting, starter turning over slowly etc...?

The bike has been doing this for a while the starter was turning over slowly he got that replaced still the same thing the f1 light came on briefly the last time we bump started it on the way back to his place slowly
