1 small step

We'll have to get those OEM's switched out B4 we take you to Leaky... but nothing like becoming one with your ride. Bikes are so much easier to work on than cars.
I guess I never road Leaky when I lived in Austin.  Are the stockers that bad.  1431 was no problem, is Leaky that much more difficult?
Oh Yes my good man Leakey is allot more twistie than 1431 and it is out in Bandera not around Austin it is an awesome ride.

Great job dude!  I love working on my own bike, and I sleep better at night.

Ok, well, it should be time for another set of shoes by spring. Will get 'em and maybe setup a break-in Leakey ride. After having having my suspension tune done also.

atleast you will know its done right if you do it...I have changed out just about everything on my bike in the last 12months since i got it, except for the motor.I can take that thing apart and put it back together blindfolded now..feels good.doesnt it

Yes..Yes it does. I plan on doing all my own work from now on. Except, if I go for something major like a 1397 kit, I may look into having someone trust worthy do it. I know my limitations.

Just poking at you bro...

Everyone that has been on one of our rides will agree they are fun for all skill levels. There is usually an A and B group. Group A (faster riders) stay out front. But we stop every 30 miles or so and wait for EVERYONE. Your OEM's are fine just realize they are not as cabable in the leaners as say 2CT's, 002's or Metzlers.

Hope to see you and some of your H-qown bro's down here soon...

Thanks for the comments.  Yea, trying to learn how to work on it myself and save some money for more mods.

R2B, thanks for the offer, looks like I won't get the tire mounted till Sat morning now.  Work always gets in the way of fun

But it got ya lookin' and it never hurts to "double-check", "re-think", and be "thorough" with the work that's been done thus far..... your life and safety "depends" on it.

Whether you're puttin' around, or beakin' the sound barrier, the work YOU DO sets the parameters of how the machine will perform.

"My job is done here".....

Can I come out of the corner yet

PS The 056's will drift at speed in twisties so set your line and make the machine do what it's supposed to. Just think, you'll get all this time on the 056's, get on something else and ROCK DA' HOUSE....... The Busa get's better, much better....
