Based on some informal testing, if the user is on your ignore list, you WILL NOT receive PMs from them. Nor will the sender get any notification that they are on "ignore". The PM just seems to disappear into the ether..

I was aware of it from playing around, but just don't feel the need to ignore people. I have that built in capability if it comes to that. Do we have a restore button for interpersonal relationships ?

If you mean can you take a person off your ignore list. yes you can just uncheck them.

I think also in a thread even though the message is hidden, I think if you really want to look at it you can check a box to view it. (I think) but I havent tried it.

I know about, but find it's more effective to not click on threads that I don't like the title of or the quick view of the text from doing the mouse hovering text.
